Recently, I’ve been on a search to find an ancient Greek-style typeface similar to the one used for the album cover.
I’m pleased to say I’ve found a very good match. The font is called “Pirho Herakles” and can be downloaded from here for free. Here’s some sample text:
I think you’ll agree it’s an excellent match.

This is an amazing site! I’m a huge fan of WPTF, I saw it on TV in 1977 when it first aired. I was 21 then! Such a long time ago! I bought the Dutch DVD when I discovered it, and my adult children watched it too, and loved it just as I did. We’ve watched it so many times since that we practically know it by heart, but didn’t know, apart from the fact it’s Crete, where the locations were, so your site is a Godsend, as we’ve often talked about going to Crete & trying to find them! Thank you so much for the huge amount of work you’ve done!
